2012 Emergency Preparedness for Long-Term Care and Assisted Living Workshop

The program is designed to assist key staff in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Residential Healthcare and Home Plus organizations in Kansas to plan for potential emergency situations. Other targeted audiences include County Emergency Managers, and Emergency Preparedness Hospital and Local Public Health Preparedness Coordinators. PREPARE is an award-winning national disaster preparedness initiative created by Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging, designed to provide long-term care and senior living communities with the competencies needed to respond to any natural or man-made disaster or emergency.
