Veterans Affairs - National Preparedness Outreach Event

The goal of the National Preparedness Month Outreach is to raise awareness of local community preparedness by providing emergency preparedness information from the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of Maryland. The National Preparedness Month Outreach complements the goals and objectives of the Ready Campaign and its Spanish language version Listo, by encouraging people to do three key things: get an emergency supply kit, make a family emergency plan, and be informed in preparation for different types of emergencies that could occur.
