Great Shakeout LA!
MySafe:LA will manage a full scale exercise during which 40 elementary school students will be "trapped" as the result of a major aftershock following a mock "earthquake" in the Los Angeles area. More than 60 firefighters, including helicopters and USAR experts, plus K9 handlers will participate. Patients will be trasnported to Children's Hospital LA for treatment. Media photo opp exists, and pre-event interviews are possible at Fire Station 27 in Hollywood from 0600hrs on.
